We stimulate dialogue and collaboration, as well as confront the differences between artists and cultural producers of different generations.
PIERRE POURVILLE & ISABELLA TENG / PAINTERS
MIЯROR is an artist duo consisting of Isabella Teng Yen Lin and Pierre Pourville. We draw on dream material, relying on free association and intuition to create our colourful, collaborative paintings, which we call Soul Art.
HU QIREN / VISUAL ARTIST
Hu Qiren completed his MFA in Photography at Parsons The New School for Design in 2015 and has showcased his work at the One World Trade Center, Queens Museum, Aperture Foundation in New York, the Louvre Museum in Paris and International Photography Festivals in Singapore, New Zealand and China.
YANG SHIHUI / BOOK ARTIST
Yang Shihui is a book artist who holds a degree in Book Arts and Design from London College of Communication, UAL. Trained in London, she is keen to explore the different formats and structure of the book. Whilst in the UK, she has worked with global publishing house, Dorling Kindersley, which saw her creating professional book mock-ups for presentation at international book fairs.
Shihui has also worked at the London Centre for Book Arts where she learned how to run a workshop and deepened her book making skills. She has assisted numerous artists in producing printmaking and book work, and conducted various bookbinding workshops. Her current aim is to introduce Book Arts to Singapore and encourage individuals to use books as a medium to express their creativity.
CLARA LIM / MOVING IMAGE ARTIST
clarrot (b. 1995) is a moving image artist and visual designer based in Singapore. Her work explores and contemplates about various critical social issues and topics mediated through interdisciplinary mediums. Her area of practice is often influenced by anti-aesthetic, nature and 90s Hong Kong films with a colour palette that pays homage to neon synth waves.
